The Technology : Current Technology : Sound System


Used for all our aural needs- the Soound System. It consists of a single amplifier, two speakers and the computer system.

Specifications:
Amplifier: Sherwood 75 watt power amplifer with tone controls and 5 inputs (only 1 is used regulary)
Speakers: 2 x 100 watt Technics with 3 cones and rear bass reflex tube.

The system is contained on its own shelf above the Bar. However on certain nights one speaker is moved across the room for better stereo sound spread.
To save on trailing wires a cable is permanently installed linking the amplifer to this secondary speaker position. It is then a simple task to change the connections over as needed.
